Dartmoor National Park · Devon
Two homes,
one extraordinary corner of Dartmoor.
A six-bedroom country house and a contemporary two-bedroom lodge, set in acres of woodland and moor — three miles from Chagford, a world from everywhere else.
A Family Place
Sandsgate has been in our family for over thirty years. We open it for celebrations, retreats and quiet weeks in one of England's last truly wild landscapes.
The estate sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. The grounds run to ancient woodland, prehistoric stone circles and views toward Castle Drogo. We've kept the buildings warm, well-equipped and welcoming — homes rather than hotels — and we hand them over with care.

"A truly beautiful haven in Dartmoor. We had an amazing long weekend there with family — Nicky was very accommodating and made the place very special for us."
